Cafepharma, Inc. has announced the launch of a social networking application for the pharmaceutical industry, Cafepharmareach.

Social networking provides a way for individuals to connect online through chains of contacts. When someone joins such a network, they invite friends, connections, and business colleagues to join as well. When these people also invite their contacts, the network extends, and the original member is now connected through a chain of contacts. Since people prefer to do business with who they know, having an extended network of contacts is an important asset in doing business.

Cafepharmareach will provide such a service for the pharmaceutical industry, including detailed searchable profiles, private and instant messaging capabilities, referrals within networks, private groups, online blogs, link sharing and more. Members may choose how much information is available to others on the network through detailed privacy settings.
