Google Announces $10 Million Android Developer Challenge

Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) today announced the Android Developer Challenge, which will provide $10 million to developers who build mobile applications for Android™, the first complete, open, and free mobile platform.

Google really looking forward to seeing all the amazing applications that developers will create on an open mobile phone platform. In fact, you may even want to enter your application into the Android Developer Challenge – a USD$10 million challenge sponsored by Google to support and recognize developers who build great applications for the Android platform.

Submit an application between January 2 and March 3, 2008.
