SocialRank tell you if one blog post is more popular than another or one blogger post is more popular than another blogger. SocialRank monitors thousands of blogs in popular categories and identifies the hottest stories and bloggers every day. They do this democratically with their unique algorithm by measuring what stories users link to, talk about and pay attention to.

They invite a few select bloggers in each niche category to participate in a ‘nomination phase’. These key bloggers nominate other blogs/bloggers in their niche that they feel provide great content and should be indexed by SocialRank.
