Synchronize Multiple Devices with Fruux Social Application

January 8th, 2008 by Social Guy

fruux

I just learned about an upcoming social application, that sounds like its wrapped around different synchronization systems/devices. If you ever had to use more than one system (like your personal laptop and your computer at work), you certainly need a tool like fruux!

In the near future you basically just don’t care where you entered your data (like contacts in your address book, events in your calendar application, bookmarks in your browser, …). You just enter it on one computer and the system will do all the magic and sync the data between all your computers.

Even when you traveling, it’s possible to read and edit your data (via any computer outfitted with internet access and a web browser) using a web application. The main concepts of fruux - synchronizing data with the fruuxDatabase and other computers. Thats the foundation of the whole system.

So far the whole thing seems to be pretty much in stealth mode but their blog already contains nice diagrams. It looks quite polished and interesting. May be it’s worth a look.
