Circos - Social Search Engine

January 31st, 2008 by Social Guy

circos

Circos is a me-centric search engine that makes it quick and easy to find the answers you’re looking for. They call it me-centric search because they believe that search should be all about you.

When you search for something at Circos, you receive a personalized guide of trustworthy answers. Every answer returned receives a letter grade for your personal search criteria. You can even validate each result with the actual customer opinions that made up the grade.

Most search engines today return thousands of web pages to you – that may or may not contain the answer you need. These results are based on what’s popular, not necessarily what’s right for you.

Circos returns a small number of actual answers to your search requests, rather than links to Web pages that might contain an answer. They want you to search in the same way you would ask for a recommendation from a friend – with colorful descriptions.
