Local search and user review site, Tipped.co.uk, has expanded its service to include more than 150,000 new businesses – many in new sectors. Now covering everything from taxis to tradesmen, dry cleaners to dentists, Tipped is building on its early successes, expanding beyond restaurants and bars, to become the definitive service for local search and user reviews. What’s more, it’s the only service of its kind with a fully featured, optimized mobile offering.
Tipped has also enhanced its ‘Tip Stream’ feature to provide updates to members when their trusted network posts new reviews, creates collections, receives useful votes, adds new friends or uploads photos.
And Tipped has launched its ‘Tippster’ programme which recognises those who contribute the most useful content to Tipped, whether that’s funny, insightful reviews; off the beaten track Collections; or photos of local places. Identified by a special badge in their profile, these ‘Tippster’s will be invited to private parties and events as a thank you for their contributions.
