Unisfair - Virtual Trade Events Builder for Enterprise

Unisfair, the leading provider of virtual events, is launching Virtual Events for Enterprise, the industry’s first marketing solution providing live, highly interactive conferences, trade shows, and seminars with superior marketing intelligence-conducted online. Unisfair designed the virtual event solution for enterprise-class marketing departments.
The solution comes complete with multiple venues, rich multimedia interactions, professional networking capabilities and market intelligence tools. Unisfair enterprise clients organizing virtual events attract thousands of attendees, generate highly qualified leads, extend market reach and build greater brand awareness.
Unisfair’s virtual events have the look and feel of a physical event-including a grand entranceway; a conference hall for keynotes and multiple conference sessions; an exhibition hall with partner and vendor booths; a resource center; and professional networking lounges.
“The rich user experience offered by virtual environments can create compelling online events,” said Jeffrey Mann, Research Vice President, High Performance Workplace for Gartner Inc. “While already familiar to consumers, users looking to take advantage of these environments in a business setting are looking for improved security, branding, professional networking and enterprise-level support.”
In addition to the live event, which can occur for several days, the virtual event can remain available to prospects “on demand” indefinitely. By continuing to deliver valuable resources, the virtual environment becomes a destination for prospects, customers and partners, which help companies build communities around their brands.
“Virtual worlds and social networking are receiving a lot of attention these days,” said Guy Piekarz, CEO of Unisfair. “We have taken these concepts and applied them to solve real world business challenges-giving marketing a new way to create demand for their products, extend their market reach and increase brand awareness.”
Since its inception in 2000, Unisfair has powered more than 200 virtual events-including trades shows, job fairs and sales trainings-primarily for media companies, such as Penton Media, McGraw Hill, The Economist and Business Week.

Unisfair closed $10 million in Series B funding led by Norwest Venture Partners and joined by existing investor Sequoia Capital in January’2008. Unisfair, which includes Cisco, Cognos and IBM among its customers, will use the funds for product development and to further strengthen sales and marketing operations.
