MakeFive - Social Network to Link People Through Opinions

June 26th, 2008 by User Imageatrayu (Who am I?)

    makefive

I wasn’t sure if you have heard of this great new startup. The site is called MakeFive and it is starting to generate some interest. MakeFive is a social network site where a user can create top 5 lists for anything, share it with others, and meet like-minded individuals based on their interests. Each user generates points to win prizes at the end of each month.

Differing from sites that currently occupy the social networking space, the new website allows people to connect with others through their opinions and interests. “Sites like Facebook are great for staying connected with existing friends” MakeFive Technical Director Eric Shelkie notes, “but we think the real fun is in meeting different people who can expose you to new ideas and influences.”
