DEMOfall 08 - Industry Leading Entrepreneurs, Investors and Journalists Debate the Tech Industry’s Future

DEMOfall 08 looks to be the biggest fall DEMO ever, with 72 companies launching their products on stage. To spice things up DEMOfall 08 will host three roundtables of industry thought leaders as they debate critical issues for entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and big business. Demonstrating companies will be announced Friday, September 5th.
Emerging technologies and new products introduced at DEMO conferences are hand-selected from the spectrum of the global technology marketplace. DEMO conferences have earned a reputation for consistently identifying technologies that will disrupt current markets and change how people use digital technologies. New technologies are introduced at DEMO conferences by start-ups and established companies such as Google, salesforce.com, Palm, Yahoo!, Apple, HP and thousands of others.
“When we were deciding on program elements for DEMOfall 08 we really wanted to take it up a level and get the pundits really discussing topics that were truly relevant to the audience,” said Chris Shipley, product analyst and executive producer of the DEMO conferences. “We also wanted to give everyone a chance to see their favorite journalists go head-to-head, and maybe have an argument or two, as they discuss their opinions and where the future of tech is going. Most importantly, we wanted them to be fun and I think we have achieved our goals!”
