We recently covered MyPunchBowl, a event planning and party invitations startup and I wanted to tell you about a web app that kind of works the same way but is focused on business use, rather than social gatherings and parties. It’s called TimeBridge, personal scheduling assistant to give busy professionals a faster, more efficient way to schedule their time.
The idea is people waste a ton of time at work trying to schedule meetings, especially when you need to get more than two people together or include folks from other companies. Plus, as people are increasingly using lots of different calendars at work from Outlook, to Apple iCal to Google Calendar it has become a lot more difficult to share calendars and availability – the days of everyone being on the same Microsoft Exchange server are gone…
Like I said, TimeBridge is a Web app. It integrates with Outlook, Google Calendar and recently they announced integration with Apple iCal, but anyone on any calendar can use it to organize and respond to meetings. TimeBridge just reached the 100K user mark, which are pretty exciting.
TimeBridge was awarded the Editor’s Choice award and four-star rating from PC Magazine due to the Personal Scheduling Assistant’s simplicity and deep-integration with Outlook and Google calendars.
Anyway, it’s an easy way to get people together and spend more time working together than working to get together and thought that might be up your alley.
