Google TV

DISH Network, the leading satellite TV provider of the United States and Google, has revealed the launch of Google TV. It will be an open platform that effortlessly assimilates multichannel TV with rich media content from the web. Google TV brings a unique opportunity to the satellite TV viewers. Combining the traditional TV programming with the wide array web content, it allows viewers unparalleled access, control, and flexibility over all kinds of digital media. DISH Network subscribers who will be using Google TV can search for content across DISH Network programming guide, the web and their DVRs at the same point of time. They can even overlay some online content related to the popular TV shows, movies, actors and much more with Google TV. What’s more? They can also hyperlink the web content back to the multichannel TV. Now, that is what is called the next generation TV entertainment.
