Car dealerships and dealer groups across the UK can for the first time advertise their entire stock online for free, with the re-launch of Netcars.com, the UK’s fastest growing car sales website.
In a bold move, the innovative company has taken the Google-inspired ‘payment by results’ model and adapted it for the used car market, offering car dealers a real alternative to existing market platforms.
Speaking about the site’s billing model, Reg Rix, managing director of Netcars, said: “For the first time dealers will pay nothing when they advertise a car with us. It’s as simple as that. A dealer will only pay Netcars when we deliver a qualified visitor from our website to the dealer’s website.“
“The risk element is removed as the model is completely results driven. This in turn takes the pressure off dealers to outlay costs upfront with no guarantee of how many cars will be sold.”
The board of the company is lead by brothers Louis and Reg Rix, who between them have over 20 years experience in the motor industry, namely with their father’s car dealership – Rix Motor Company – in Warrington, Cheshire. Finance Director Laurence Gilbert & IT Director Jonathan Wilson make up the rest of the team and bring with them a wealth of experience.
Reg Rix added: “As a business we’re looking to do things differently within the motoring world. At a time when the industry is struggling to get back on its feet we wanted to create an offering that would help dealers generate as many leads as possible, by allowing them to advertise their full stock list without worrying about the cost involved.”

Netcars.com offers consumers unique services such as “Car Advisor” which is its own brand within the Netcars website. Car Advisor displays real car reviews from real people and allows consumers to research cars without having to leave the Netcars website. Netcars.com also has an open site policy and enables consumers to write their own blogs and submit to the news section which helps constantly build the Netcars community.
