BeenUp2.com is a fun and easy photo sharing startup that’s conversation and community driven. You take a photo with your mobile phone, send it to the site and it’s posted in seconds. Then your friends/family/others who are on the site can see what you’ve been up to and can comment in real-time.
It’s a lot of fun. You can attach locations to photos and see where you went in a day/week/month. Now you can see your photos or your friends’ photos plotted on a Google Map. Keep in touch with loved ones near and far. Also today they launched their iPhone app for it.

Geni.com, top rated genealogy and family networking site announced today that genealogists can now import their family history into Geni using the popular GEDCOM format. The launch of this features makes it easy to move their research into Geni to easily share it with their family. Geni gave genealogists the ability to upload their family history from other programs to the Geni site using the industry standard GEDCOM file format. GEDCOM is an acronym for GEnealogical Data COMmunication and is used to exchange data between genealogy applications.
