Apple device users are thrilled with the latest iOS 7 that Apple will soon unveil but there are things that were not disclosed by the Apple executives during its presentation of its latest operating system. While there are many new, overhauled features that are expected from the Apple’s iOS7, not all of them were presented for the public to know. Here are some undercover features of the iOS7 that Apple execs did not tell the consumer and here’s your chance to know what these are.
- Swiping Gesture Feature : Instead of tapping the “back” button on your device, Apple is experimenting to offer a different way of going back to a previous page by using a swiping gesture instead. A swiping gesture is an easier way of moving back to a previous screen than tapping on a button.
- Add Applications to Your Passbook : The old iOS version of Apple allows you to store your tickets and virtual coupons only in your passbook but the latest iOS 7 will be optimized for adding cards to your passbook by simply scanning your card’s QR code.
- Apps Added on Your Wish List : The Wish List feature in iOS 7 will allow the device user to save an app that they are interested of and plan to purchase in the future. This will allow you to save your favorite app from the Apple store for easy retrieval when you are ready to make the purchase.
- iCloud Keychains to Save Your Passwords : This feature allows you to keep all your passwords in a secured place including your credit card information. It is most useful when you manage too many accounts online using different passwords and you are using several Apple devices like iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone. It does more than just storing your password and encrypting them securely but it also allows syncing on iCloud for easy retrieval when you are using different Apple devices.
- Lock Screen with a Timer Countdown : This is a feature that will show the timer countdown directly on your device screen once you set an alarm in an iOS 7 optimized Apple devices. When you hit the snooze when your timer is up, it will show you how many time remaining before the alarm goes off again.
- Panorama Lock Screen Photo : If you are tired of setting a lock screen photo on your device with some icons getting in the way on your view, the iOS 7 will allow you to display a panoramic photo on your screen minus the distracting icons. You can merge photos together using a photo editor app on your device and set them in panoramic view as your lock screen photo.
- Moving Icons on Your Screen : iOS 7 adds more entertaining features on your device’s icons by allowing them to dance or move when viewed on your screen. You can make your icons do some subtle moves to give them more life while sitting on your screen or you can turn off this feature if you prefer static icons for viewing.
- Better Accessibility Features : If you have trouble reading small texts on your Apple device, the iOS 7 add more accessibility feature for easy navigation on your device including enhanced text legibility for better reading.
- Text Message Linked to Calendar : iOS 7 is more intuitive as it allows the device to pull out contact numbers, dates and events from your text messages and add it intuitively on your calendar.
- Multitasking Feature : The iOS 7 is now as hard working as its users. It supports multitasking feature where it continues to run the applications you are using in the background and allows you to instantly access the one you need to use. You have the control which applications you want to run in the background from the device’s settings menu.
